Kindle app approved but NOT for Kindle!?

Not happy today. I have a Kindle Fire and have been testing the game on it fine. It took them more than 3 weeks to approve about a week more than Apple. When they finally approved it, I couldn’t find it on my KF, so I went to Amazon on my PC. It says its not compatible with KF! Hopefully there is some mistake! Does anyone else see that? :frowning:

They seem to be a law to themselves, they are worse than Apple.

See my post:

Ansca/Carlos really needs to talk with them. I thought they were partnering up for device builds. [import]uid: 99244 topic_id: 18799 reply_id: 72462[/import]

UPDATE: Amazon said they will approve it separately for Kindle Fire later on. I will keep you posted. So the approval process is way longer than Apple so far. [import]uid: 99244 topic_id: 18799 reply_id: 72558[/import]

just curious, did it finally get approved for the Kindle Fire? [import]uid: 79443 topic_id: 18799 reply_id: 73636[/import]

As of today, it has not been approved for Kindle Fire. :frowning: [import]uid: 99244 topic_id: 18799 reply_id: 73643[/import]

Ironically, after they said they would not approve my app for Kindle Fire, it is now approved???

Maybe it was the fact I pointed out they had let a load of crap through already. [import]uid: 8697 topic_id: 18799 reply_id: 73649[/import]

slightly off-topic from the initial thread, @tsuriyathep / @cublah, how did you upload the app to the kindle fire for testing before submitting to the AppStore? Is it documented anywhere? Any pointers you could share? Cheers. [import]uid: 79443 topic_id: 18799 reply_id: 73794[/import]

Download some free installer type app. I use “ES Explorer”. Hook up the Kindle via USB, copy the APK somewhere. Open ur installer, click the APK and install. Make sure in settings u allow installs from unknown sources. [import]uid: 99244 topic_id: 18799 reply_id: 73801[/import]

I use dropbox.

You can install on the kindle Fire by going to https://www.dropbox.com/android from the browser on the device.

The https:// is important!!!

Means I don’t have to worry about a cable etc… [import]uid: 8697 topic_id: 18799 reply_id: 73812[/import]
