After getting our tablet-sized version of our app approved in Amazon store, we got the following email from someone at Amazon -
“Is there a reason for the read phone state permission? I just tried loading it on my Fire and it’s showing this device is not supported which usually indicates an issue with un-supported permission…”
Can anyone help? Should I be using a different build? [import]uid: 32462 topic_id: 17777 reply_id: 317777[/import]
it appears that there is not currently Kindle Fire support (unless in the mysterious new build that mentions fire that I’m planning to test tonight) [import]uid: 32462 topic_id: 17777 reply_id: 67819[/import]
I tested my app using build 11/17 and I was able to get it to run on the kindle fire no problem. Awesome. Thanks for your help. Now next step is to get it done and submit. [import]uid: 1884 topic_id: 17777 reply_id: 68300[/import]
As of 687 build (and before), despite having PRO subscription, whatever I build for Kindle Fire shows me an error that “this message only appears on trial version”
I’ll try the new daily build that Carlos mentiond in the blog once it comes out and report back [import]uid: 32462 topic_id: 17777 reply_id: 68302[/import]
Same issue with 688 - every build I do (even sample hello world app) when I put on device I get a warning about trial version. And I have ccorona pro sub [import]uid: 32462 topic_id: 17777 reply_id: 68424[/import]
