I am noticing issues with performance of my app on the kindle fire. I am building an asteroids like clone and it performs great on the ipad.
I am using particle effects for explosions. The frames drop when using the effects and then if I turn the effects off the other time I see issue is when there are a lot of asteroids on screen.
Wonder if anyone has seen a lot if issues with games that have a lot of physics objects or particle effects and what you might have done to optimize or fix. Some have suggested that the issues may caused by software issues on the Fire.
I have a nook as well and plan on testing on it next and will report back if I run into the same issues or not.
