Latest SDK Won't Build Towards Android 1.6

Basically, with the previous Game Edition, I succeeded in building the game for 1.6, 2.0, and 2.2. But when test-driving the latest 243, which just rolled out a few days ago, I just keep getting compiling errors for android 1.6, as followings:

2010-12-09 21:45:13.691 Corona Simulator[227:903] Connection error: (corona.get) ({ "/kWSHTTPResponseMessage" = <cfhttpmessage>{url = http://developer.anscamobile.com/services/xmlrpc; status = HTTP/1.1 200 OK};<br>})<br>

The same code base can be compiled successfully for iOS, Android 2.0, 2.2 tho. Anyone experiences the same thing? Or any insights here? Thanks! [import]uid: 11341 topic_id: 4336 reply_id: 304336[/import]

Would also like to point out that the samples shipped with new SDK don’t compile under 1.6 either. [import]uid: 11341 topic_id: 4336 reply_id: 13503[/import]

This is a known issue in the latest release.

I’ll post back here when we have it fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Cool Im glad other people are experiencing this. I hope it gets fixed soon. Anybody know of ANY android 1.6 examples that are compiled that are out there. I just want to see the performance. [import]uid: 12014 topic_id: 4336 reply_id: 14077[/import]

Thanks getting back to us, Tim! Corona is a great tool for our prototyping for now. Only hope they will advance quickly to catch up the mobile-techs, especially Android

@happyBtn It’s snappy on 1.6. You can try it out on device, with the older Game Edition at least. [import]uid: 11341 topic_id: 4336 reply_id: 14220[/import]
