Launch App in different modes

Hi Corona folks,

I have an educational app and I’d like for the grown ups to be able to launch in ‘admin’ mode so that settings can be tweaked, user accounts deleted, etc. But I don’t want the regular kid to have access to that functionality.

I was hoping there was a way to have two icons. One ‘regular’ icon that launches for kids. And another ‘grownup/admin’ icon that would launch the same app but in ‘admin’ mode.

Is such a thing possible? If not, has anyone else dealt with this issue successfully?

Do you mean 2 launch screen icons?  This isn’t possible.  Your best bet is to create the first loaded screen with both options, with the admin button being password protected.

There are several people working with different ideas to block kids access to off app links, setup areas and such.  Seems like most people are going for a simple math problem to restrict access, but you have to build that control into your main app.
