Hello .After launch, the application closes and displays in the console “The stdin connection has closed.”.How to fix?
Welcome to the community.
Unfortunately you have you have given us insufficient information to work with. That message has no direct correlation to any particular cause.
Are you seeing crashes running unmodified examples that come with Corona or just your code?
What version of Corona? Ex: I’m currently using release 2018.3363
What OS and version of the OS are you running on?
Are you running on a device or in the simulator? (Sound like the simulator).
If if is your own code, the best I can offer is:
“Find the coding bug that is causing your app to crash.”
I installed the program for the first time. I am using the current version.I did not write the code.Windows 10 ,nvidia geforce gtx 1060 6gb,amd rysen 7 1700.
- Please verify that you have the latest drivers for your video card by visiting the NVidia site and checking.
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
I think it should be this one: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/139606/en-us
- Please tell us the steps you take.
i.e. Does this happen as soon as you launch the application? Or, does it happen as soon as you run one of the integrated examples?
Thanks,
Ed
I updated the driver. This happens when I launch the application.
-
This is on a desktop machine, correct?
-
Are you running an antivirus program?
-
Did you reboot after updating drivers?
-
How much system memory do you have?
Sorry, but this is very weird.
Try installing the latest daily build:
1.I use the desktop machine
2 I do not use antivirus software
3 Yes
4 2x Kingston HyperX KHX2133c14/8gb
Could there be a problem in the settings in the BIOS?
I’m stumped. That should be plenty of machine to run Corona.
