Layered images showing up brighter

I am having an issue where png images with transparent backgrounds that I have created in SeaShore are showing up brighter when layered over another image in my program. Everything displays correctly when I lay it out in SeaShore, but in the simulator it seems as if the layered image is getting an alpha boost. I have had this issue in two different programs now using completely different images.

Please tell me my unartistic self is just missing something obvious. If the issue is SeaShore itself, is there another free and easy to use mac image editor out there? [import]uid: 67293 topic_id: 25090 reply_id: 325090[/import]

I can’t say for sure as I’ve never used that program but if you upload an image and give me a link I’d be happy to check it out. (You can always water mark it if concerned.)

I have a friend who uses Skitch which is on the Mac app store for free last I checked, she hasn’t had any such issues.
