Its actually hard to get know someone who will share your passion for game programming and will help you along the way as you help them.

I have been animating for 5 years and just started programming in CoronaSDK!! Any help would be AWESOME both ways… If any body is looking for little art concepts instead of using squares and circles all the time… I am more then happy to HELP!!

I’m Rob. I’ve been programming (ironically starting with games) since 1979 and even had a tour of 8 years professionally developing online games. I have a very strong background in the server side of multi-player games. I’ve been playing around with Lua and Corona SDK since March and I’ve got 2.5 games and another app live in the app store (half game?? Lite version…)

I know programming though I don’t know all of Lua and Corona’s internal behaviors yet so in that aspect I’m still a learner.

My day I’m a product trainer and I have really good teaching skills with technology and I love to share, ergo my participation in the forums.

I’m also a professional photographer and I have really good Photoshop skills… at retouching… I can knock 20 pounds off you, hide your bald spot or give you a realistic looking smile from a frown but . . .

I suck at artwork. It’s my biggest pitfall with my gaming. My games lack animation. I don’t have the skills, time or patience to build multi-frame art work, or even artwork in general.

I’m more than happy to swap programming for art…

I am so impressed at the generosity expressed on this forum.
