Hey Corona599,
The saving and reusing level info is in place already: my level are saved as text files with some JSON trickery, and loaded the other way around. I am thinking about making the level editor accessible to users, but I think the best way to do this would be allowing uploads and downloads of levels made by others, and rating them etc… Social-gamingwise this would be cool, but all that network-stuff is not my forte.
And on top of that, I’d need to put serious work into writing a manual for my level editor, because on an iPad this means loads of tiny buttons crammed together, and the whole parallax, tilebased thingy is not immediately obvious for most users.
But I’ll probably try! I hope to get a video online of the game and level editor in action. The cool thing is that the game logic keeps on running while you edit the game so you get instant feedback
Cheers,
