Level locking, another question (Ego)

Hi.

So I have read pretty much ever resource I could find on the web, (in the mean time learned how awesome the forum search is… NOT) and can’t quite figure out the way to use Ego.

What I am doing, is creating text as level names

 L1Text = display.newText("Level 1", 35, 100, native.systemFont, 28) 

And calling a function to move onto a storyboard scene when tapped on.

Now where to start with Ego? I am totally lost as to how I can implement the library into my game. Then the change of text colour to indicate if it is locked? How would I manage that?

I know I am near hopeless, but hey! Everyone begins somewhere.
