Licensing Problem

Hi there,

Does anyone know if the call to Google’s servers to check licensing for Google Play Android apps could be blocked by someone’s security software? If so, what address would need to be added to their “safe list” to allow the call to be made?

I have one customer who is consistently getting a licensing error when it works for everyone else. They are definitely connected to the internet and they definitely have a valid copy of the app bought from the Play Store.

It was the only thing I could think of…

Thanks,

Ian

Google probably would not publish that technology information. I certainly wouldn’t want to publicize it.

If I here guessing they would be using a web-based API instead of a server listening on a port. If that’s the case, I don’t think any firewall would block that.
