Thanks. Sadly it was a busy day for Action/Arcade and Line Bot ended up 3 pages down on both in the new releases. It’s getting beat by Domino Dog :frowning: [import]uid: 36054 topic_id: 20071 reply_id: 78524[/import]

Hi, i played your game on Android device
first of all, first time i launched app it got freezed i dont know why) second time all ok
i played around for a while and liked the animation…

what i did not like:
speed of game, everything too slow
sound effects, they are noisy as hell
anyway, good luck) [import]uid: 16142 topic_id: 20071 reply_id: 78531[/import]

@darkconsoles Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been asking around on the load-time issue but no one has given me a solid answer as to whether it’s a known Corona problem. The game takes about 5 seconds to load on iOS and 35-40 seconds on Android.

The speed of the game increases drastically as you go through the game. At first it is slow, but eventually it becomes very, very fast :P.

With that said, you’re not the first one to think it’s too slow, I might increase the speed of the easy levels in the future. [import]uid: 36054 topic_id: 20071 reply_id: 78534[/import]

Just released Line Bot 1.1 on Android. It turns out the 35 seconds plus load times on Android were because of how long it takes audio.loadSound to load large audio files (it seems iOS can load audio much more quickly). I was able to cut the Android load time down to about 5 seconds by using audio.loadStream for all of the music tracks (anything longer than like 4 seconds). I played it, it’s a fun but hard game

I will leave you a rating later today  [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 20071 reply_id: 79162[/import]

that’s just what i wanted to suggest you, we had the same problem.

cool game!! [import]uid: 90610 topic_id: 20071 reply_id: 79163[/import]

I like the robot animation, think the running is so funny. I don’t like that he stumbles everytime though but it’s a fun and difficult game.

Rating coming. [import]uid: 13560 topic_id: 20071 reply_id: 79176[/import]

Thanks for all of the comments and promises of reviews (please leave reviews, it helps!)

I’m being told by a lot of people that the first level is too easy and every other level is too hard. I may go back and make the game easier at some point.

I’ve submitted paid and ad-supported versions of Line Bot to the Amazon App/Kindle store as well. I want to experience going through all the different app store procedures. Nook is next as soon as I’ve wrapped up Amazon.

Line Bot 1.1 with Native Game Center support has just been approved and will release shortly (should be available everywhere by tomorrow). The very first Corona SDK App to have it! (to my knowledge)
