Linebreaks with Text Candy

I’ve looked through the documentation and can’t seem to find how to do this. I want to have a single textcandy object that I update with text, with each update pushing a new line. I tried using \n for linebreaks, and that doesn’t work. I can’t reliably add spaces to the string so it automatically wraps. And the only methods I see are for getting the number of lines in an object, not setting the text for a specific line or anything like that. Is there an easy way to do this?

It’s a single pipe:
