we made a TV Show using Corona SDK for a Jordanian TV Channel
40 episodes of a contest between 3 teams with a back-end controller
this is episode 10

Just to verify, Corona SDK is driving the on screen part of the game? Is part of it running on the host’s tablet? What about the controls the player’s use? The screens on the player’s pedestals?
This is really awesome!
Rob
Wow, very cool!
We Have a backend server Which has MSSQL database, and .NET webservice
there are 9 other devices being used:
3 devices for contestants (Windows touch screens) with a corona App compiled as full screen
3 devices for scores (Windows Devices) with a corona App compiled as full screen to display score for each team
1 Device monitoring Database, and viewing whatever players are doing, and connected via HDMI cable to Big Wall Screen (Audience Screen behind TV Presenter) Built with Corona for Windows as full Screen
1 Android Device for TV Presenter doing almost the same as the Big Wall Device, but showing him all correct answers before contestants make them to be able to discuss answers with them…Built with Corona as APK
1 device with a VB.NET App to flag the database in the right time, to reveal questions, answers, results based on TV Presenter, Producer, Director Commands
What is really crazy that we designed, developed and built the whole system, with testing and fine tuning in less than 30 days
we had to do 22 hours a day sometimes, but they had a deadline, and they trusted us to deliver in 1 month, 7 other companies apologized and asked for 6 months at least
we have recently built a social App with Corona, already hosting around 50,000 users, so i had the great engine built already for database communication, and i used it in this App
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.kakula.maw3id
The Game logic is very complicated, when it comes to possibilities and events, although the game looks simple when played, but the back end logic is really tough … short code but tough
we are very proud of it, and it could have never been built in this time, with this performance without Corona, actually we agreed on the delivery time, knowing that corona can do it
This is an incredible performance! In one month all of that. Great job!
