load ipad simulator by default

this should be an easy one but I am not finding it anywhere. How do I get the simulator to load ipad for my testing? it keeps changing it back to iphone 3 when I restart. what’s the trick? what am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

When you refresh the simulator it should keep the skin you chose when you first opened your project.

When you open a project there’s an option to pick “iPad”, which will then keep the app in an iPad sim while it is running.

I believe iPad should also be the default option on next launch if you don’t change it.

Am I perhaps misunderstanding the question?

yes, I think you got the question right. the problem is that the select option is not kept/saved when I close everything and start over. I tried using the simulator from CPM and I still see the same issue.

it’s kind of annoying but I can live with it

That is interesting; how are you launching Corona?

For me, it remembers my preference (Mac) if I launch using a shortcut to Corona, or launch normally - however it always launches in iPhone sim if I use CMD+R with TextMate.

Are you using TextMate? If no, what build of Corona are you using and on what OS? [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 21997 reply_id: 87611[/import]
