I got this weird problem with the local notification I’m using. Everything works as excpected on my own phone, but whenever I test it on a different phone, the notification cannot be received if the app gets killed or even received when the app is still running in the background.
Would this be a problem in the code or security related on the phones?
There shouldn’t be anything that would be device specific. But can you provide more information? What devices? What OS’s? What version of corona are you using?
So many people use this API and we don’t have problems with it, so I have trouble thinking it’s a bug with our API. It’s likely an issue with the device since it works on many other devices as your code works on other devices.
What versions of android are running on each device?
Yes, that’s what im thinking too, because I keep chaning the code and it keeps working and not working on the same devices. I just tested it on another Note 2 and on that one it worked as expected. So it might be the device then. I just wanna make sure it’s not the code.
EDIT: Also, when setting the notifcation on the Redmi, the application takes a very long time to restart after exiting.
