I’m wondering if the problem with not being able to open a new page has been solved with using the maps pin view?

For example, a lot apps a have a location finder, and when you click the arrow on the map popup, it slides you to info on that pop up.

Much like the Happy Hour Finder app in iTunes.

I’ve found all the posts on geo location and the javascript work around, but nothing really on opening a new page.

If it’s not possible with Corona now, is that something that is coming soon? That’s a pretty popular feature it seems that people are asking for.

Anybody??

I’ve found that Appcelerator offers this feature. Really would like to find out if it’s coming soon in Corona and if not then at least I know I’ll have to build that particular app in something else like Appcelerator. [import]uid: 5997 topic_id: 26001 reply_id: 105322[/import]

Is nobody building apps with this feature on Corona?
