Long Delay When Switching Apps On 3GS

Hello Ansca,

On my 3GS, any apps published from .268 freezes the screen for several seconds when you switch to another app ( by that I mean double-clicking on the home button and selecting another running app ). The animation that iPhone displays for app switching is what gets frozen. After several seconds, it resolves itself by clearing the screen and showing the app you’ve selected by snapping it into view.

It doesn’t look too handsome. I don’t know if it happens on the iPhone 4, as I don’t have one yet.

This happens with any of the .268 apps ( including Bubble Ball ). Any apps published in prior versions run fine.
