Hi Corona developer,
We are looking for a developer to help us modify an existing Corona music player app to enable native backgrounding music feature. If anyone has experience or has an example to sell, please let us know.
Thank you.

Hi, Petr,
Will we be able to purchase plugins from you?
We have interface and other functions all completed in Corona SDK.
Therefor we are thinking if the backgrounding music feature can be added to our current project as a plugin.
For example, we might need a plugin to play assigned file (ex: 1234.mp3) in app’s document folder.
then play/pause, resume, seekto, loop the music with iOS native api to enable backgrounding music.
The music should be controllable over iOS widget.
We also want to play a list of music, and pass widget player status (ex: play/pause, current millisecond, the order in playlist) back to app when resuming music from suspended.
Please let us know if we can achieve this with native plugin. Thank you very much.
Hi Alex,
to my knowledge binaries that are compiled with Corona SDK cannot run in the background on iOS, so a plugin cannot help here.
I would create an app in Objective-C in Xcode and add your existing Corona project in it with Corona Cards. Then I might need to connect some of the tasks programmed in Corona SDK to native functions written in Objective-C. It might apply to audio - or not. I would need to see your source code to be sure.
Best regards,
Petr

Thanks for your reply, Petr,
I was thinking to add native backgrounding music feature with Corona Enterprise.
I followed flashlight tutorial and had successfully call native flashlight code from our current Corona SDK app.

We will take a look of Corona Cards and see if it’s the most efficient way to integrate native function.
It is because there are already a bunch of LUA codes/files completed for the project. We hope to modify them as less as possible.
Thank you very much.
Hi Alex,
I probably misunderstood: By “native backgrounding music feature” you probably don’t mean “music playing while the app runs in the background mode”? You might think the app running in foreground, while music is playing?
Best,
Petr
Thank you, Petr,
No, I did mean “playing music when app is suspended”.
Our team has completed this feature on Android with Corona Enterprise.
I thought we can achieve this on iOS as well. So I was hoping to find a Corona Enterprise iOS developer to help us.
Hello
how much will you pay for this?
I don’t know how to make a plugin.
But I can finish it directly on Object-C and lua.
Hi Alex,
I was making an app where the sound was playing in the background and after a research I understood that it’s the only right way for iOS was to use Corona Cards. I might be wrong, but the solution worked for me.
Hi Alex,
We are currently working on corona enterprise and we ca help you in this
