Looking for some advice on an app

Hey there fellow Coronians, so I have this app that I released about 3 months ago, it’s called GlowTunes. it has gotten great reviews and seems to be picking up steam, so I have created an update with tons of new features. I was hoping someone would be willing to download it(I will give you a promo code) and give me some advice on how I should structure my in-app purchases. It has 3 instruments to use now, and the update is going to increase that number to 12, along with a ton of other goodies. I was hoping to get some feedback on what you think I should charge for the app and the instrument packs/ how many per pack. As of this moment I am planning on:
the app being $.99, comes with 6 instruments, and the other 6 are another $.99

but maybe I should have it only come with 4 and and do 8 for $.99, to encourage the additional purchase,
of maybe it comes with 4 and has two $.99 purchases of 4 instruments each.

I could go on but you get the point, if anyone wants a promo code and thinks they could provide some experienced feedback please let me know. (i only have 10 codes left so please be sure to get back to me if you do request one) Thanks!

Some other features of the update:
A save/load function for your creations
Use square lights as well as circle
Backgrounds to create on
Improved overall functionality(you will no longer have your drawings erased when changing instruments or options, i got a lot of complaints about this, you will see.)
Improved quality for the instruments and sound effects

you can post here or contact me at chris.r.martone@gmail.com, thanks alot! [import]uid: 46742 topic_id: 15074 reply_id: 315074[/import]

It looks like an improved version of Tonepad.

I guess that is where the idea came from, I actually started to make a clone too but gave up xD

looks laggy, it needs to be smoother IMO

onto your request:

in app purchases. I have seen people say that multiple in-app purchases are bad. But I disagree, hipstamatic is very successful!

I don’t know what your instruments mean (different sounds?), but am not sure if 99 cents is too much  I don’t buy much things but others may.

It depends if you want to be greedy or not (hope that isn’t too harsh). [import]uid: 79135 topic_id: 15074 reply_id: 56395[/import]
