Looking for some thoughts/advice re Android device(s)

Now that I have my iOS app off to Apple I’m pondering making it available on Android.

The app is a parts lookup, I.e. parts info in your pocket while restoring cars, etc.

The app is built for the iPhone and I still have to do some research as to how many possible Android users but since I have the app built additional cost is really just the Android device.

Hence the question as to what device I should consider. Since I already have an iPhone I don’t need an Android phone but more like an Android equivalent iPod.

BTW, the iPhone App is free and I would do same for Android.

The app runs fine in the Corona Android simulator but I really don’t want to distribute without actual device testing.

TIA for any suggestions you might have.

Well they’re not necessarily pocket-size, but I’d suggest a WiFi tablet, maybe the Iconia A500, or the Samsung 10.1. That way you can do testing on a tablet sized device, and they’re just awesome. [import]uid: 4596 topic_id: 9980 reply_id: 36392[/import]
