I couldn’t find a “Marketplace” forum on here for job listings but I’m looking to hire a programmer for a 2D iphone game project. I realize there is a Studios link but I’d prefer to hire individuals and perhaps even hobbyists instead of a company. If I missed the correct place to post this, please let me know.

@ninjaWorks, are you saying that studios mean BIG BUCKS and individual developers mean smaller budgets?
There are quite a few that run their operations as studios but are singular individuals, Robert Nay from NayGames LLC is the 14 yo that made Bubble Ball, I do not think he has hired any one to code for him as yet, so though he works as NayGames, it is him and for all you know he might even be a hobbyist but at the same time he is listed in the studio.
My point,
- if you have peanuts to offer, you will attract monkeys
- Studios does not mean EA or Gameloft studios
