lost user folders under corona app folder when updating build

(If this isn’t the correct forum for this, please let me know)

So, I was storing all my development projects in a subfolder of the CoronaSDK folder. This is 3 months worth of coding, graphics, sound, etc.

When I updated to the latest daily build, that folder and everything in it was removed. What is the point of removing user created folders on updating? That’s a lot of work gone.

In Windows, when you update an application the updater will generally only fool with its own files, not user created ones.

I admit- I’m fairly new to using a Mac. Is there any way to get all that back? (I immediately grabbed everything in the trash can, but none of it was there). Tons of code, composed music, sounds, graphics, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

My only idea would be go for the “saveguard” called" Time Machine and look there for a backup of everything.

If you do not have any backup or do not use Time Machine on Mac, am so sorry but I have no idea on how to “revert” this. :\
PS: Never save anything under the Coronas folder/installation directory and it always get cleaned when even installing a simple daily-build or getting back any other Coronas version (I`ve tested that myself time ago concerning the exactly same thing as you are now).
Luck!
