low income from Corona App (InMobi)

Hi, does anyone have similar experience or know what to do?

(Maybe Ansca can research as its only affecting my Corona apps)

I have a native Android app (MyDays)
and build later the “same app” again just with Corona.

Both are filled with InMobi Ads

but very strange

my Native App gets 10 Times !! more Income instead the Corona app.
CPC for the Native app is 0.25$ for the Corona App just 0.02$
so eCPM is 1.230$ to 0.14$

Would be really great if that can be improved.
Makes no sense for me, any Ideas why?

thx
chris

Wow it’d be interesting to know if anyone has the same experience. [import]uid: 56623 topic_id: 26145 reply_id: 105878[/import]

And the impressions/click rate were the same between the apps?

If so please file a bug report: http://developer.anscamobile.com/content/bug-submission [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 26145 reply_id: 105888[/import]

Guruk,

Some questions on this:

  1. I understand your native app is on Android. Correct?
  2. Your equivalent Corona-based app is also on Android? Or on iOS?
  3. Are the number of impressions across the apps similar?
  4. What about the fill rates?

It may be easier for you to email me directly: david AT anscamobile.com

Just FYI, we know of now reason why performance would be different (everything else being equal). And our understanding with InMobi is that developers should see the same revenue from native or Corona apps (again, everything else being equal).

yes the original is native android and the corona version iOS & Android.
Also i am just talking about comparing both android versions.

for sure the corona version is newer and only has around 1/8 of market share.
also strange the fillrate from the native went down to 30%, but cpc went up 10 times in the same time. (not bad… if its like that all my apps can get 30% filtrate

don’t get the system… but for the native app i am not unhappy about
as its 8 times better than a few weeks ago.

i will write you an email with more details

greets
chris
