I’ve never used c# but if its anything like c, which i’m sure it must be, then hilarity will ensue.
completely different language than lua. you are in for a treat!
My advice would be to forget everything youve learned about lua while tackling your course.
I would start off from scratch with c#, I assume you have a prescribed text… read it and DO all the exercises and samples yourself. One thing I know is that when learning a new language, copy pasting makes it harder to learn. Any parts you are unsure of… google why they are used. I got tripped up by namespaces in c when I did it undergrad after programming in pascal for years.
C is a typed language, so make sure you understand all the differences. Using the right integer type is an art:)
Very best of luck to you, if you have any questions on anything, if you get stuck and don’t know where to find an answer, send me an email. inno@ghost.net.nz . I’m more than happy to at least give you a sounding board. Ive been programming in a lot of different languages, and I’m amazing with google
