Ludum Dare 46 is this weekend!

Like the title says, Ludum Dare 46 is this weekend.

If you aren’t familiar with Ludum Dare, it is perhaps the most famous game jam there is. You can enter as a solo developer and you’ll have 48 hours to create a game from scratch ( COMPO ) or you can join as a team and you’ll have 72 hours to create a game ( JAM ).

It doesn’t matter if you’ve just started learning Corona or if you are a seasoned veteran, this would be a perfect time to create a nifty little mini game during the weekend or perhaps you could prototype your next big app? You’ll also get to rate and play several other developers games!

Most of us are told to stay at home any way, so why not make the best of it and attend the Ludum Dare 46?

If you are interested, please comment here, read more and join in on the fun at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46.

There’s at least a couple of us taking part in Ludum Dare this time around. Everyone is quite busy with their projects, but there’s a bit of chatter going on in Slack’s #gamejams channel if anyone is interested.

Here’s a teaser / intro for a game I’m working on:

The game will be playable at https://github.com/XeduR/theDark once it’s done.

I’ll also be uploading its source code and files to https://github.com/XeduR/theDark as the project progresses.

Looks cool. Is it horror?

Nah, it’s more of a survival. Nothing horror about it really.

You can play the game here: https://xedur.com/demos/theDark/

If you participated and use Corona, post a link here so we can see your great ideas!

I saw this game that have corona splash screen:
