It’s know Ludum Dare is going on this weekend, and I had it in my brain to give the next one in December a try.
With the new Corona Windows and Mac builds, has anyone tried (or is thinking of trying) using Corona for a Ludum Dare?

Sorry I missed this… Yes we did a LD Jam entry… Check it out…

Also interested in any issues/bugs you find… Hoping to make the desktop builds more seamless…
All in all it was great… I had to build some new stuff to deal with Joysticks and Menus that I didn’t think of before, but Spine, Tiled and pretty much all the tools we use worked like you thought they would.
No2games,
Thanks for the reply! 1-800-Monsters looks pretty cool… I will give it a try for sure.
I’ve been following LD for about a year now, and I decided I want to give the next one a try (I believe it will be some time in December). I have been going back and forth for awhile to decide what development platform to use. Due to my experience with Corona, it’s probably a no-brainer to use it, but wanted to hear some real-life experience using Corona at LD, especially since the Windows/Mac build feature is available. Looks like you were successful.

I replied in this thread with some of the issues we hit… nothing huge.
