Hello,
I was wondering what OSX version(s) are compatible with Corona SDK.
Also, would this work:
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2GHz
- 4GB DDR3 RAM
- 160GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
- 13.3-Inch Screen, GeForce
- Apple Mac OS X 10.6

Looks like you need to upgrade your OS X version to 10.10 or later.
System Requirements:
Mac OS® X 10.10 or later, Intel Mac. For iOS builds, requires Xcode 6.3 or later
Note: I think this is because Apple made some requirements changes for xCode and iOS that can only be built from OS X 10.10.
I think this is their way of feeding the beast. i.e.
Increase requirements,
give the OS away for free,
only support new OS (well) on more modern hardware…
sell more Apple computers
… repeat.
Wait, wait. Let me try the optimistic spin:
Give away OS and tools for free,
(Unfortunately require newer dev hardware and test devices),
- Ensure premium end user experience.
Apple just has to make like this so people have to buy, buy ,and buy … anyway thanks for the answer!
