Mac - Simulator window moves down on every relaunch, eventually offscreen

Not ready to say this is a bug until I hear about others experiencing it, but I can’t think of anything on my system in particular that changed that would be causing this:

Starting at about build 652, every time the simulator relaunches (Command-R, or save a file in the project), the simulator window moves down on the mac’s display. After about two restarts, it’s off the screen, and I can’t get it back without restarting the simulator.

I’m using OSX 10.7.2

Anyone else seeing this? It’s very frustrating…

I am having and seeing the same Corona Simulators bad behavior as well. Exactly the same as youve described above.

Generally happens after the 4th (command+R) and so I must close and open the simulator again.

Not a big deal but disturbing for sure.

Use Lion 10.7.2 as well.

Hmm, can’t say that this has ever happened to me… sure sounds frustrating. [import]uid: 66117 topic_id: 17393 reply_id: 65854[/import]

It is… I’m back to .645 until it’s fixed.

That`s Ok Scott!

PS: Using the version 2011.645 vanish the trouble as well here.
Thanks submitting for the Ansca`s bug section as I would do the same.

They talked about this in a different forum thread here is the link, i dont think
they have fix this (havent tried latest daily build im using 639) This can be
very annoying.

+1 to this fix if it has not been taken care of

The “moving simulator skin” is a known problem since we added the new Mac native widgets and rebuilt the desktop code. We do have an internal fix for the problem but waiting to get some other code working before we check it in. Hopefully it will be added to the daily builds soon. The new code also fixes some issue with moving the skins to a second monitor. [import]uid: 7559 topic_id: 17393 reply_id: 65991[/import]

Thank you Tom for looking into this little disturbing bug.
