#####MACBOOK PRO RETINA PROBLEM HELP!####

On my new Macbook, the simulator is blurry and does not appear to be retina optimized. It really hurts your eyes and I suggest you fix it soon. I tried going into finder and clicking get info, but the option for low res mode is greyed out and unclickable.

PLEASE FIX!

THE RETINA MACS HAVE BEEN OUT FOR 2 YEARS NOW!

I want to buy the pro version of corona but why should I when it doesn’t work properly on my Mac.

C’mon, the customer is always right.

This is a issue for me but not as important as other issues like simulating hardware evets in the simulator etc

all caps wont get fixes any sooner.

*paying customer is always right

Well, on my new Mac Retina nor my newTewt nor my newTextField do actually work in the Simulator… and even putting it in lowResolution does not solve that problem.

I just want to develop an app containing text fields, but I CAN’T if I work on a MacBook Pro Retina. Come on, that’s absurd.

Hi @corona7219,

I’m not sure what the issue is that you’re describing. I’m using a MB Pro Retina and both text (display.newText()) and native text fields work just fine in the Simulator.
