macOS Sierra beta & Corona SDK

Is anyone having trouble developing with Corona SDK and macOS Sierra beta?

If you’re using both of those successfully with Corona, please mention that.

Thank you.

Our engineers have done some quick testing with a beta or two back and it seemed to work fine. Are you having issues?

Rob

Oh I should add for other observers… Apple does not accept distribution builds coming from beta software. While there may be a temptation to install Xcode 10, it will require you to use a Corona SDK build with a beta iOS 10 SDK (and tvOS and macOS). You will not be able to distribute apps with this configuration. If you have a spare test machine by all means, play with the betas. If you’re in a situation where you need to be productive, staying with release versions of macOS, Xcode and iOS is advised.

Rob

I didn’t want to update to macOS Sierra if it didn’t work with Corona SDK. Yosemite and Corona were broken and I couldn’t do anything for months.

The fact that I can’t upload a distro build definitely means I won’t update – our game is almost done.
