making a rectangle into a button

so I have just a normal newRect rectangle and I would like to make it so when you click it, it will display a level chart does anybody know how to do that?

Welcome to Corona. This task is very easy: just add a tap or touch listener to the rectangle object and listen for that event in a listener function. The following guide should help you with this:
