Mapview not working on iPhone 6S Plus

I’ve just had two users (I saw for myself) who have the iPhone 6S+, and the map in our app is just showing a gray area.

It works fine on the following:

iPhone 6 (iOS 9.2)

iPhone 5C (iOS 9.2)

iPad Mini (iOS 9.0.2)

Android devices

Gray box where the map should be on:

iPhone 6S+

Have not tried on other devices (because I don’t have them).

Has anyone else noticed this problem? I’m not sure if for some reason those devices require a new permission or anything like that.

Hi Dave,

I tested our MapView sample on my iPhone 6S and it works fine. So it’s not a 6S PLUS, but it works on the 6S. Can you please test our sample on the 6S+? Also, what build # are you using?

Hey, Brent. This was with build 2775, and unfortunately I’m not at the office today where the people have the 6S+.  I’ve only got an iPhone 6 and an iPad Mini 1. It’s fine on both of those.

I’ll try the sample next time in the office. One thing that would be super helpful is if you guys would occasionally release a “Kitchen Sink” app that has a lot of things inside it, just for testing, like GPS, Mapviews, widgets, etc. Maybe once a month or maybe even only for public releases. It would help in cases like this, where I could just ask them to download that real quick and see if the map view works.
