Engineering said they would like a bug report to capture the device information. Since you’re going to be required to submit a demo app, just zip of the Licensing sample app we ship as the example, unless you can produce a reproducible test case which would be awesome to have.

In the information please post a link to this thread. Include a list of all devices the error is showing up on.  Of course as always, please post the CaseID back here when you get the confirmation email.

Now all that said, we have an engineering working on expansion files, which touches licensing, so something could get magically fixed, but the more information we have the better a chance we have to track it down.

Also are you altering the .apk we produce to change the AndroidManifest.xml file? (i.e. using apktool or similar?)

Rob

Hi Rob, thanks for ur answer.

No im not altering the AndroidManifest.xml

about sending u the source. Here I would have to send u my whole app source, or just the .APK?

For sure I could send u more reports from my Store Dashboard. but they are all same

Also seems not everyone report that problem, (maybe 10% of users)

(most devices are Galaxy S5)

I don’t know that need all the reports. Since they are the same, just one. but we are looking for what devices it’s failing on. That list of devices is what we are actually looking for.

I don’t know that sending us your app will help in this case. But if you want to that will be fine.

Rob

Hi,

ok attached 3 screenshots from my dashboard

and thats the app

This won’t get to the engineers. Please use the “Report a Bug” link at the top of the page.
