Masking Crashes Device, NOT Simulator

Hey everyone,

It seems like this should be something super simple, but I can’t get it to work. It works perfectly in the simulator, but it always crashes on my device. I made sure that my mask image is a multiple of 4. The mask is larger than the image object I’m trying to use it on, is that a problem? Don’t see it mentioned anywhere else.

I’d appreciate any help you could provide. It seems like lots of people are having masking issues lately, which will hopefully be resolved soon.

I can’t really answer your question but I also experienced some mask issues. My issues were related to most touch events being blocked by the mask.

It was a bit of a mess when i last tried it.

It seems that if you scale the mask, the resulting absolute size also has to be a multiple of 4 :confused:

Hey, I’m considering going pro and paying for a subscription but there is a big problem with masks on the Trial version on Windows. Scrolling near any masked object seems to crash the Simulator reliably. Can anyone confirm if this is fixed in the newer builds?
