I’m running into frustrating limitations using masks and alpha channels. Apparently my images can’t use alpha functionality when they have a mask set, which is a big problem in my game (sometimes you just want to fade out an image).
The documentation is pretty vague, stating a minimum depth limit of 3 is needed (but my iPhone has a depth limit of 8 so that should not be a problem). The docs also say that further testing is needed.
The same goes for tinting of images, by the way.
Ansca, is this something that is on the map for a bug fix/feature update?
