Hi Peach, quick question, are your tutorials on techority up to date? I went there and saw some tuts dated back from the beginning in 2010. I just want to make sure that it’s not old code or something.

Thanks,
Sid [import]uid: 7475 topic_id: 10366 reply_id: 83660[/import]

Hey Sid,

The vast majority are - OpenFeint isn’t and I’m not 100% sure on the latest Twitter and Facebook examples, I’d have to check - but I believe everything else is still current.

Thanks Peach, I’m spending tonight on your site :). Getting ready for my adventure in a few days (February is the month I start getting into game development), wish me luck!

Good luck - remember to ask questions on the forum if you get stuck; and you will sometimes  (It happens to all of us when we’re new to developing.)

I found this website,
don’t know if already posted here,
but inside a lot of information on coding with Corona SDK.

http://sree.cc/
click the corona category on the right side.

The one that I am interested in is to apply pause and resume in transition.to

http://sree.cc/corona-sdk/pausable-transitions-in-corona
Hope this is helpful.

Hi all,
I just started with Corona and was excited to find these tutorials, but it looks like as of 12/10/2012 all the links in the ‘Corona for Newbies’ section are bad.

Does anyone know if they are available anywhere else?

Thanks. [import]uid: 209495 topic_id: 10366 reply_id: 137417[/import]

The 3rd party sites like learningcorona.com are great resources, but they just link to other 3rd party tutorials. The individual tutorial producer can take them down, move them to a new URL or a host of other things that will break the link. The indexing sites may not get notified to remove the broken links.

We are now hosting our own index of tutorials, but for those done by 3rd parties, we are as subject to the other person taking them down and not notifying us. You can see those here:

Our official tutorials are on the Blog link above and click on the Tutorials topic on the right or click here:
