media.playVideo doesn't work in Simulator mode

Hi all,

Is there any way to test video playback function in simulator? After trying several times I realize (after run debugger) with this message:

WARNING: Simulator does not support device video

So, instead to build and try it on device, should be desirable to have video playback support in simulator.

Unfortunately right now we don’t support video playback in the simulator. It should work fine on the device though. Let me know if you have any problems playing back on the device. [import]uid: 5 topic_id: 179 reply_id: 178[/import]

Yes it works on the device. But is not really confortable to make the whole process to see if video runs ok. On the other hand, how can I control the video to be syncronous?

And finally when the movie starts it shows the processing wheel at the middle of the screen before to show the video. Is there any way to hide it and just present the video? Because I would like to introduce the video as splashscreen and then start with the app.
