Memory leak when using widget.newButton()

Hi,

I’ve raised a bug: Case 20711

When using widget.newButton() with emboss set to true, button will not be fully removed from memory.

Memory impact isn’t huge, I am just in a process of finding memory leaks in my code and I always assumed that if there’s something wrong it’s in my code. I’ve been hunting this damn leak for quite some time before I decided to ditch widgets to see what happens.

I know widgets are reworked now, but this is something to consider when releasing new version.

Hi oromanetti,

I’ve decided not to use any widgets and wrote everything custom, including buttons.

This error was with the previous version of widgets, so it’s probably gone now.
