Memory Storyboard/Director

Hi all,

i m using CoronaSDK 2012.773 and tried also in CoronaSDK 2012.771.
I have a old project made in Director and now upgrading for storyboard, and in Director with “collectgarbage( “count” )” i get like 200 Kb of memory, and in Storyboard i get always more 30/40 Kb, so i like to ask if is better to use Director because this increase im memory?

Also get the feeling that the transition response in Director is much more smooth than Storyboard.

Thanks for your opinion.

This increase is for there after the include of Storyboard, independent of the scene. [import]uid: 87077 topic_id: 23789 reply_id: 95744[/import]

Hey there,

Currently the team is working on improving Storyboard and ironing out any lingering issues, so hopefully this will be resolved soon.

If you have it already made with Director I would keep it that way for the time being; perhaps using Storyboard in your next project when it’s air tight.
