I appreciate all the price feedback. The results of the two surveys added together (assuming nobody voted twice) are as follows:
$5 (or less): 3
$10: 0
$15: 2
$20: 3
$25: 5
$30: 4
$35: 2
$40 (or more): 5
This has been most enlightening! While the overall trend favors the current price, it would seem there is some support for increasing the price of MTE as well. I’ll have more news for you all on that front soon.
Would it be safe to say to buy a copy of MTE now before the price goes up? 
Yes, I would say that it is safe indeed!
My interpretation of the MTE price surveys is that support exists for increasing the price of MTE. Increasing the price would also help to offset my expenses. Some people would also like to pay less, of course. I think a compromise is in order! For the next four days, until Midnight on Monday the 17th, MTE is 40% off!
