Misleading Demo

Hi there.

I am a beginner.

I just made a test app by copying the code from the Corona Simulator’s “Touch & Sound” demo.

It does not work properly.

There are two differences:

  1. The image is not centred on the cursor when you click.
  2. The sound does not play.

The demo gives the impression that it is showing ALL of the code necessary to produce the result that is rendered in the demo.

Please explain.

Cheers.

All the demo’s contain all the files.
If the demo runs when you try it directly you have acces to all the files.
The only misleading thing here is your title.

You might try showing your code. So people can see what is going wrong.
You could have used capitals where there aren’t any. You might have named your audio file wrong.

You might not have copied all the code.

An image not centering is not a problem of them nor supplying all the code, but having entered wrong coordinates, or maybe having different setting in your config.lua.

Their demos are text files that need to be compiled to run. You can acces all the text files. [import]uid: 100901 topic_id: 36036 reply_id: 143181[/import]
