Missing Code Signing Identity?

First of all, I must ask: Is it possible to transfer an app I created to my personal iPhone without putting it on the App Store and without upgrading to pro? Can I send the app to my iPhone 4S with the trial edition?

If I can, then why is Code Signing Identity missing? It is just grayed out and says “Choose from the following”, but there isn’t anything following.

I am completely new to this, so bare with me. =) [import]uid: 173421 topic_id: 30235 reply_id: 330235[/import]

  1. Yes, you can build for device with the Trial version, but you get a Trial nag at the start of your program.

  2. But you must pay Apple $99 and join the iOS Developer Program to get a Code Signing Identity to put anything on your device not from the App Store. (Apple’s rules, not ours.)

So can I (without paying the $99 for putting it on the app store) transfer the app I built to my iPhone? Or do I have to pay the $99 to put it on my phone also? [import]uid: 173421 topic_id: 30235 reply_id: 121158[/import]

Apple only lets you put stuff on your phone if you pay them $99.
