Should I upgrade. If so should I do clean install [import]uid: 7911 topic_id: 32468 reply_id: 332468[/import]
I upgraded on the day of release and it’s been fine for me. As for a clean install, I suppose that depends on how you are with your current install of OSX. If it’s a fairly vanilla install and it’s still quite speedy, I’d be tempted just to upgrade, however, if you’ve mucked about with system settings, installed a bunch of SDKs and other cruft which you think might’ve slowing you down, then why not go for a fresh install. Just make sure you have FULL and up-to-date backups of everything valuable and important before blitzing your Mac. [import]uid: 45444 topic_id: 32468 reply_id: 129121[/import]
I did the same, upgraded but not a clean install - however I had a bunch of stuff I no longer needed and eventually reinstalled to start clean. I’d +1 the above, just make sure you have your backups in order first. (Even if not doing a clean install this is still recommended.) [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 32468 reply_id: 129153[/import]
I upgraded. No issues [import]uid: 19626 topic_id: 32468 reply_id: 129160[/import]
I also just upgraded.
The only problem I had was the old xcode icon I had left in my lower toolbar.
Simply replaced it with the newer link. [import]uid: 9070 topic_id: 32468 reply_id: 129162[/import]
