Moving to the new build system.

I published my first independent app Sun Stones a little over a year ago.  It’s been pretty successful - I used a premium model on Android and IAP on iOS.

Now I’d like to push out some updates, but my Corona license has expired.  Also, things have changed…

When I was using Corona in 2012, I had a $350/yr license which allowed me to build for both platforms, and include IAP.  Now I can build my Android for free (since it doesn’t use IAP), but cannot update my iOS version.

This is, obviously, a rather poor situation to find myself in.  Is there any sort of legacy / grandfather clause that will allow me to reduce or eliminate this fee to keep my iOS build current?  Is there some way I can keep using my old Corona install, or do I have to remove it and install the new one?

I’ve been away from Corona for nearly a year, so please be aware of my ignorance for any developments made in the past 12 months.

Why can’t use build for iOS with starter…

I would upgrade to the latest public build anyway to get the latest features.  There was a May 1 deadline to get the old $349 pro price.  I don’t know how long you’ve been expired, but your best bet would be to email support AT coronalabs DOT com and ask.

Seems like a sound approach - e-mail sent and fingers crossed!
