Multiplayer services - which one to use?

We have now several options for multiplayer.

Here are the 3 I am considering to use:

1) Google Play game services

  1. Together

  2. Photon Cloud

For now, the focus is on turn-based gameplay.

Anyone could share their experiences or thoughts which one to use?

Regards,

Damir.

Photon Cloud is for live (everyone is connected now) type game play, like a first person shooter.  GPGS is really setup for the same type of game, though I think with some creativity you can do turn based games with it.  I just started reading about Together last night, and it seems to be more oriented towards turn based play.

There’s also PubNub service, and it’s opensource analogue http://forums.coronalabs.com/topic/32775-noobhub-free-opensource-multiplayer-and-network-messaging-for-coronasdk/

Overtorment: Looks like there is a marked for a good cross plattform tunrbased multiplayer, if someone could make a template or a dummies tutorial on how to make a simple turnbased game using PubNub, I think you`ll be seeing alot new users for your service.

Just look at the respons on the template for tunrbased multiplayer using parse.com(which is still in development)

Im not offering any services. Noobhub is an opensource software, and its up to you to use it or not.

Fair enough, just saying that if someone created a tutorial on how to setup a turnbased multiplayer with noobhub, it would have been greatly appreciated by the community.

On topic: We did some research on in a couple of months ago, and found that together platform is a little expensive, Google Play Game Service (And Game Center for Apple) is not for cross platform. So we have started looking into using parse.com.

Agreed. I would be interested in this. Thanks for considering.

yeahh…tutorials plsssssssss
