Before now I used another competing coding language for ios games etc. In this language I could request how many touches a device could handle.
If I touched the screen that would register as touch1 if I lifted my finger and touched the screen again this new touch would register as touch1 as expected.
If I kept this finger on the screen and then placed a second finger on screen this new finger registered as touch2. If I lifted finger 1 the second finger would continue to be registered as touch2. It would not change.
In Corona I have enabled multi touch but have found weird behaviour that I cannot work out how to solve.
If I touch a circle on screen I can drag it about as expected. However if I place a second finger on screen the circle will jump to the second touch. I don’t want that? I want it to stay under touch1. If I then rock my first finger a little bit the circle will jump back to the first finger.
Does anyone have any idea how I could stop this behavior happening.
Thanks
