I try to make a build and when I receive my app, everything in it is messed up. I can’t install it. iTunes says: “the file can’t be installed because its resources have been modified”
In the “Images” directory the thumbnails are messed up and if I try to open the images, I get an error message that they contain errors.
My app is 8 MB big, even if my whole project directory is 600KB
If I start a completely new project with a background image and a few other images to test, I still get the “can’t install because its ressources have been modified” or an “unknown error”.
The images should be OK, because I have already built a test app with them a few days ago. In the simulator everything works fine.
I can build and install the “Fishies” app, however it becomes 7,7MB big and it is full of OpenFeint, Facebook and Twitter files, even if there is no reference for those in the project.
No matter, what I build, even if it is just a “Hello World” app, it gets 8MB with OpenFeint and all.
If it is a new project, not a sample project from Corona, it is impossible to install on a device. [import]uid: 6587 topic_id: 6133 reply_id: 306133[/import]
I have built an Xcode Simulator version and it started first, but froze at the Corona Trial Message.
If I try to start it again, It doesn’t do anything. I just see a black screen.
If I hit the home button, then it wants to start, but then it is already too late, because it closes again.
EDIT:
If I build a device version, all images are messed up. Even the OpenFeint images. If I build an Xcode Simulator version, then the images are not messed up. [import]uid: 6587 topic_id: 6133 reply_id: 20992[/import]
Mine is working too, but sounds don’t seem to follow (flatten directories and testing on Android). [import]uid: 26474 topic_id: 6133 reply_id: 23499[/import]
