native.newTextField within an Alert ?

Is there a way to incorporate a newTextField (for user input) into an alert?

I suppose I could use a popup window (I’m using Director) & make it look like an alert, with an input field & two buttons on it, but I was wondering if I could use an alert instead.

Can this be done??

No worries Robin - I’d encourage you to move forward with a pop up instead. (Either using director popups or not.)

You could make it look like a native alert :slight_smile:
