The docs say that native.newVideo() and media.play() are not available on Windows, as has been the case since Desktop builds were introduced years ago. I wanted to see if 1) this is still correct, and if so, 2) how developers are showing video on Windows?

You can simply run the video with system.openurl
I think it will launch the video file in the default windows viewer in a separate screen
